final double page spread after feedback

This is my final double page spread and as you can see i havnt changed that much from it as people that i asked thought it was a good idea but thet did say that the pictures would stand out more with borders so i have added black borders around the pictures.

final contents after feedback

This is my final contents page which I have made after feedback. Instead of having the title on a slant I have put it straight across the top of the page. I have also changed the font as the font I used before was the same as the name of the magazine on the front of my page and i want that to be significant. I have added a white border behind the word contents so it also stands out more.

final product after feedback

This is my final front cover for my music magazine. I have changed three small things which people said from the feedback. I have mad the barcode smaller and added more text on the right hand side to give the reader more information, I have also added a price in the top left corner which people said would make my music magazine more proffesional.

Feedback

To make my final products even better i have decided to get feedback from the class and ask them what they think is good and bad about my final products.

I asked people what they thought was good about my front page and the general comments where that it looked good and proffesional, the majority also thought that the main picture which was in black and white worked well with the borders and titles. One thing that alot of people did say that the bar code looked to big and took alot of space up for a barcode and thought there could have been more writing there such as what else is inside the magazine or something as small as a price to make it look more proffesional.

For the contents page I got good reviews for the pictures and fonts i used. People thought that the borders around the pictures made them stand out and that the fonts looked edgey and had an indie vibe to them. Others thought that the positioning of the title didnt look very well because it was slanted and would look better if it was centred and straight. it was also saide that it may look better if i used a clock white background as i have done on the front cover.

For my double page spread the majortiy of the class thought it looked well and especially liked how i linked the two pages togther and also made the title stand out. One thing that was said is that there could have been borders around the pictures to try and make them stand out more. they also thought it would add consistancy because it is done through out the magazine.

All in all i am going to considor all of these different ideas what people have given me to improve my music magazine in a way in which I think it will look the best.

This is my double page spread for my music magazine. I have took up more than half of one of the pages with a long shot of emily to show the reader who the onterview is on. I have also used another picture on the other page where most of the interview is. The rest of the pages are filled up with the interview. I have also added a bog quote at the top so it grabs the readers attention. The title is put across both page so it can link them both pages together.

This is my music magazine contents page. I have decided to add just two pictures on this page and have added borders around them to make them stand out more. I have used the same fonts as I have on the front page to make it look proffesional and give it an indie/rock effect. The pictues i have used are from a gig and one of the girl my main story is about.
